Sano Paila's unwavering commitment to reaching and empowering thousands often overlooked by society and government has garnered extensive recognition. We are deeply honored to have received the following prestigious awards, honors, and fellowships, which serve as a testament to the significant difference we strive to make in the lives of Nepal's most vulnerable:

 

  • Selected as one of Asia’s 100 Young Entrepreneurs & Social Changemakers Organizations 2009/10 by the Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship and awarded the Paragon Fellowship, recognizing Sano Paila as a model of excellence for others.
  • Honoured and felicitated by Nepal Police Day in 2010 & 2012 for our dedicated efforts in combating drug abuse, trafficking, and production.
  • Awarded the Social Development Award in March 2012 by the Youth Foundation of Nepal.
  • Received an Appreciation Award in 2013 from the Lions Club of Birgunj.
  • Sano Paila’s anti-trafficking program was featured in the CNN Freedom Project in 2013, highlighting our crucial work in this area.
  • Recognised by the Blood Donors’ Society & Nepal Red Cross Society Birgunj in 2015 for our contributions to these vital causes.
  • Felicitated by Birgunj Customs Office on World Customs Day 2015 for our significant contribution to the fight against drug abuse & trafficking, including addressing child labor and exploitation issues.
  • Awarded as one of Nepal’s Top 50 Youth Organizations by Today’s Youth Asia in 2015.
  • Felicitated by Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Sewa Kendra (BRSK), Birgunj for our impactful work towards the needy and underprivileged members of society. This honor was bestowed by the then Minister for Peace and Reconstruction, Sita Devi Yadav.
  • Our work and the challenges Nepal faces regarding human and drug trafficking have been featured on prominent international channels such as Al Jazeera, Channel 4, CNN, BBC & Fox News.
  • Felicitated by over a dozen local organizations and clubs since our establishment, recognizing our diverse contributions to the community.
