Sano Paila operates all its health-related projects and activities through its Health Services program since 2012. Through this program over 7,500 beneficiaries have benefited directly through 61 general health camps.
Since 2012, Sano Paila has been dedicated to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable populations through our comprehensive Health Services program. This initiative serves as the umbrella for all our health-related projects and activities, driven by the belief that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right and a cornerstone of community development.
Through our Health Services program, we have directly impacted the lives of over 7,500 beneficiaries, bringing essential medical care to their doorsteps through 61 strategically organized general health camps and mobile clinics. These outreaches provide crucial access to diagnosis, treatment and preventative care in underserved areas, often bridging the gap where healthcare infrastructure is limited.
Sano Paila has also played a significant role in combating critical public health challenges. In 2013 and 2014, we successfully completed the Tuberculosis Reach Project Waves 3 and 4, a testament to our strong partnerships with the Stop TB Partnership, the World Health Organization and the SAARC TB & HIV AIDS Center. This project reached over 100,000 individuals, providing vital testing and treatment for tuberculosis. Notably, our efforts led to the early detection of TB in 100 children, a demographic where diagnosis is often challenging, highlighting our commitment to reaching the most vulnerable.
Our health promotion initiatives go beyond treating illness. We strive to empower communities with the knowledge and resources to lead healthier lives. Ensuring access to vital health services and promoting healthy lifestyles are fundamental pillars of sustainable community development. Our programs equip individuals with the information and support necessary to achieve optimal health, enabling them to participate fully and contribute meaningfully to society.
Key Activities Under Our Health Services Program:
Facilitating Free Treatment for the Most Vulnerable: We are committed to ensuring that poverty is not a barrier to healthcare. Through our network of compassionate doctors, specialists and goodwill hospitals, we facilitate free treatment for poor, marginalized and vulnerable individuals. In situations where free treatment is not fully possible through our partners, Sano Paila directly provides the necessary funds, ensuring that critical medical care is accessible to those who need it most.
Bringing Healthcare to Communities Through Health Camps: We regularly organize general and specialized health camps, taking essential medical services directly to communities that lack adequate access. These camps provide a range of services from basic health check-ups and screenings to specialized consultations, addressing immediate health needs and promoting preventative care.
Implementing Targeted Specialized Projects: We undertake specialized health projects to address specific challenges within communities. Our successful Tuberculosis Reach Project exemplifies this approach, demonstrating our capacity to implement large-scale initiatives with significant public health impact. We remain committed to identifying and addressing other critical health needs through targeted and effective interventions.
